Ar. Khushbu Patel
Founder & Principal Designer
Khushbu trained as an Architect at South Gujarat University, Surat, where she was awarded the IIID Gold Medal for Design in 2007.
She spent more than a decade with leading design practices in Hyderabad, Mumbai and Bangalore, working on homes, retail and workplaces across India. Her last role was at Morphogenesis, Bangalore, where she led the residential architecture division and a team of architects and interior designers on large residential projects.
In 2020 she founded KP Designs to work differently: on fewer homes, with the same rigour, and with her personally involved in each one. She still leads every project from the first plan to handover.
The Studio
KP Designs conceptualises and delivers complete residential interiors in Bangalore. We work on a limited number of homes each year, for families who want a home that is planned as carefully as it is finished.
Every project starts with the plan: how light enters, how services run, and how the family will move through the day. Materials, furniture and styling follow from that, not the other way round.
The Process
01. Briefing
We start with a detailed questionnaire to fully capture your lifestyle, needs, and vision—the foundation of every project.
02. Design
We translate your brief into precise blueprints, custom moodboards, and photorealistic renders, refining every single detail.
03. Execution
With complete end-to-end management, we handle everything from structural builds and custom carpentry to final decor styling.
04. Handover
The final reveal. We hand over the keys to a beautifully finished, fully realized space—ready for you to move straight in.
